Welcome to episode eight of the Twin Perspectives podcast series!
This week, we return with a destination themed episode on our recent wintery adventure to Norwich in Norfolk. This was our third trip as Visit England Ambassadors (you can catch up with our Northumberland podcast here), and an adventure to another part of the UK we were yet to explore.
The episode begins with memories of our childhood best friend – Catherine – who traumatically left our friendship group one summer’s day for a new life in the mysterious city of Norwich. Now left without our favourite den-building companion, we shunned Norwich, forever associating it with a place that stole our pal.
Our few days exploring this city ‘of stories’, however, quickly melted the twenty-year grudge that we held against it; revealing itself as a colourful, artistic and independent city. Aspects never quite articulated through Catherine’s fragranced letters of her new home and dance classes.
The podcast episode includes tips on where to stay in the city, the best places to eat, our favourite shopping spots and historical highlights – including the beautiful Norwich Cathedral.
