An Honest UK Review of Happy Mammoth Hormone Harmony 2024

by The Twins May 1, 2024
written by The Twins May 1, 2024

This honest UK review of Happy Mammoth contains affiliate links.

If you’re female, have periods, or are going through the menopause, then it’s likely you’ve been targeted with Facebook ads for a brand called Happy Mammoth.

With dazzling reviews, impressive claims and slick branding, the supplements offered by this Australian brand seem, well – nothing short of miraculous.

This is particularly so for its Hormone Harmony formula. According to its users, this supplement promotes rapid weight loss, the cessation of nearly every hormone-related ailment, and leads to better moods.

‘I lost 29lbs in 2 months’, one review declares.

‘Just WOW!’ says another.

After being bombarded by ads for Happy Mammoth’s Hormone Harmony for a few weeks – and suffering with increased PMS symptoms since the birth of my son – I decided to give it a go. After all, the brand offers a 60 day guarantee. If the supplement did nothing for me, I could at least get my money back.

What was the harm in trying?

Twelve weeks later and below is my honest UK review of Happy Mammoth’s Hormone Harmony formula. Given that I haven’t come across any bad reviews of Happy Mammoth, I was keen to try them for myself – to see how I fared. Is Happy Mammoth worth it? Did the Hormone Harmony formula help manage my PMS? Are Happy Mammoth legitimate?

Below is my honest review – one you may find a little disappointing.

Are Happy Mammoth Legitimate?

Firstly, who are Happy Mammoth and are they a legitimate company?

In short, yes – Happy Mammoth are a very real and credible company.

According to the company’s own site, the brand was the brainchild of Matthew Murphy and founded in 2017. Initially, the company’s focus was on gut health and based around their bone broth, aimed at healing leaky guts.

From here, the company expanded – using natural, plant-based ingredients to create blends aimed at improving hormonal health. Trialling new plants and extracts, the Happy Mammoth team has also grown, and now includes nutritional scientists, a doctor and naturopathic physicians.

The brand now claim they are the only Natural Health and Nutraceutical company owned by Australians and – by any standards – are booming. To date, they have had over 1.6 million customers and their business grew by 300% in 2022 – 2023 (Facebook marketing at its best).

They are a now nine-figure women’s health brand.

I’d therefore say that Happy Mammoth certainly seem a reputable brand.

Where Are Happy Mammoth Based?

Happy Mammoth are an Australian company, but their products are now manufactured in the Netherlands, in accordance with EU safety standards.

Symprove Review: Is It Worth It? (2024)

What is Happy Mammoth’s Hormone Harmony Formula and How Does it Work?

While Happy Mammoth began life as a gut health company, it’s now largely synonymous with women’s health – specifically hormone regulation.

This is definitely the case with their flagship product – their Hormone Harmony blend. In fact, I would wager it’s this specific product that’s led to Happy Mammoth’s meteoric rise over the last twelve months.

So, what is Happy Mammoth’s Hormone Harmony and how does it work?

In short, this supplement is a blend of natural ingredients aimed at ‘balancing’ hormones. By doing this, Happy Mammoth claims it can reduce symptoms of the menopause, peri-menopause, PMS and any other hormonal related issues.

Its ingredients include: Ashwagandha (something I’ve previously used for anxiety), Wild Yam Root Extract (something that may increase the production of progesterone), Maca Root Extract (can help to balance hormones by treating the pituitary gland and hypothalamus) and Fennel Seed Extract (championed as a supplement to ease menopausal symptoms, through the production of estrogen).

Each ingredient is said to be optimally dosed, to ensure they have some genuine impact and are triple tested to ensure purity, quality and accurate quantity.

As a result, Happy Mammoth make some quite impressive claims regarding what you can expect when you take Hormone Harmony. These include:

  • the reduction of bloating and fluid retention within 1 to 3 days
  • uninterrupted sleep within 5 to 7 days
  • the ‘shifting’ of hormonal weight within 15 to 30 days
  • the elimination of hot flashes within 4 to 7 days

Forget HRT or the combined pill, it seems that Hormone Harmony will sort out your every hormone related woe.

honest UK review of Happy Mammoth

How Much Does Hormone Harmony Cost?

One thing to touch upon in this honest review of Happy Mammoth Hormone Harmony is its cost.

This is not a cheap supplement.

Of course, any natural ingredient – triple tested for quality – tends to come with a price tag these days. If, as Happy Mammoth say, each ingredient is so rigorously tested, then perhaps a higher price tag is to be expected.

This said, one bottle of Hormone Harmony costs £54.99 for 72 capsules. Given that you are required to take three capsules a day, that means that each bottle will last you 24 days – or just over three weeks.

Three tablets therefore set you back around £2 a day.

It really isn’t cheap, is it?

To make things more manageable, Happy Mammoth do offer a subscription service – with two jars costing £49.99 each and 4 jars coming in at £44.99 each. If you hit ‘subscribe and save’ you’ll also receive an additional 10% discount.

However, if you don’t want the products anymore, you’ll need to remember to cancel the rolling billing cycle, or else they’ll continue to arrive.

An Honest Review of DAME Tampon Applicator (2023)

Honest Review of Happy Mammoth Hormone Harmony: My Symptoms

So, with all the above pleasantries covered, let’s get onto the main act: my honest review of Hormone Harmony by Happy Mammoth.

Firstly, why did I decide to take this product?

As I’ve mentioned in previous blog posts, since having my son, my cycle has been an entirely different beast.

Prior to getting pregnant, my period – and cycle in general – was a complete non event. Apart from some irritable moods just before my period, I was genuinely entirely unaffected by my hormones. I was on a fairly even keel throughout the month and certainly didn’t notice my cycle dictating my mood, behaviours – or life.

Fast forward four years and all this has changed.

Getting pregnant and having a baby triggered something in my cycle; awakening a beast and setting in motion madly fluctuating hormones.

In short, my monthly cycle is now a rollercoaster of symptoms and emotions, with very little respite. Ovulation, the one time of the month I could depend upon to provide a glimmer of hope, is now filled with anxiety and, to boot, painful boobs.

My PMS is less of the angry variety and more a sobbing kind affair. And, once that finally ends, my period arrives – heavy and intense, and bringing with it night sweats, insomnia and bizarre ‘brain zap’ sensations.

My cycle has been so wild that I even looked into the possibility that I was already peri-menopausal. However, following a few blood tests, and given that I’m only 37, everything looked OK on that front (for now, at least).

(To test my hormones, I used the fantastic Hertility Health).

To try and therefore bring about a bit of equilibrium to my hormones, I began researching natural ways to balance hormones – and that’s when the adverts for Happy Mammoth began.

How Long Did I Trial Hormone Harmony For?

I started taking Hormone Harmony in January 2024 and trialled it for 12 weeks.

Given that Happy Mammoth claim you’ll notice changes within just a few days, I felt this was plenty of time to give this formula a fair shot. I also wanted to go through three full menstrual cycles, just to see if things improved as time went on.

Honest Review of Happy Mammoth Hormone Harmony: What I Liked

Let’s start this honest review of Happy Mammoth on a positive note, with what I loved about this supplement (and with it, the wider company).

Fast Shipping

Firstly, the lead time between placing my order and receiving my Hormone Harmony was incredibly short.

I’d expected to be waiting a little while, due to the fact it was coming from the EU, but it was on my doorstep within 48 hours.

I’d also ordered a few other Happy Mammoth supplements (including their formula for fatigue), and when it arrived I realised that some of the ingredients couldn’t be taken alongside the SSRI that I take.

I’d read a few bad reviews of Happy Mammoth regarding the returns process (i.e., there is none) and so I was a bit nervous about contacting them to arrange a refund. However, once I contacted Happy Mammoth Customer Services and explained the situation, they happily helped to facilitate the return (a quick note – the items had to be unopened and fully sealed).

I popped the fatigue formula back in the post and received my refund within five working days.

I’d say that I therefore had nothing but a positive experience with Happy Mammoth’s customer service and the returns process was seamless.

Premium Ingredients

When it comes to naturopathic supplements, it’s difficult to know whether the ingredients you are taking are – well, what they claim to be. With big brands such as Amazon now selling everything from menopausal supplements to insomnia remedies, it’s very difficult to gauge the legitimacy of the item you’ve bought.

Given Happy Mammoth’s strong emphasis on quality botanical ingredients, provided at a clinically-effective dose, I did feel reassured that these supplements were genuine – something certainly suggested by their fantastic reviews.

Happy Mammoth are also quality tested by a third party, ensuring their standards are upheld. Furthermore, and something I wanted to mention in this honest review of Happy Mammoth, is the fact that they don’t use any toxic fillers of flavourings to bulk out their products.

They are therefore GMO free, gluten free and contain no heavy metals – which is only a good thing.

No Side Effects

Does Happy Mammoth’s Hormone Harmony cause side effects?

No – not in my case, at least.

As I mentioned, I took Hormone Harmony for twelve weeks and had no negative side effects at all. Given that the formula is made from all natural, botanical ingredients, this is what I’d hoped would be the case. However, I do know people who have had adverse reactions to ingredients such as Ashwaghanda, so I was still a little bit nervous (especially as I also take a pharmaceutical drug – Sertraline).

However, I’m pleased to report that it all went without a hitch – something that’s perhaps down to the company’s dedication to quality ingredients.

My Honest Review of Happy Mammoth Hormone Harmony: What I Didn’t Like

Now, onto the stickier part of this honest review of Happy Mammoth Hormone Harmony – what I didn’t like about this product.

The Quiz

Firstly, Happy Mammoth suggest that there is an element of personalisation to their service, in the form of an online questionnaire (or ‘free assessment’). You can take this two minute test and, apparently, find out which Happy Mammoth product will ‘change your life’.

It goes on to claim that by taking this quiz, you’ll be offered ‘100% personalised results’ based on over ‘14,000 scientific studies’ from the likes of Harvard, Yale and Columbia university.

This all sounds great, but what exactly does it mean? That these universities are having input into your final results, or advising what supplements to take? That the team at Happy Mammoth have read all 14,000 of these studies and are now applying them solely to me and my symptoms?

I very much doubt it. If I’m honest, claims like this just seem to be sales-driven word soups, that attempt to put additional legitimacy behind products.

The questionnaire itself is very simple – four questions in total. From it, I doubt anyone could gain any real insight into my symptoms, let alone be able to offer a personalised approach to my ‘treatment’.

The answer I received also seemed to glide over the fact I reported digestive issues and mental health issues (as an aside, if you are being sold a herbal supplement to help manage your mental health, then that’s a considerable red flag in my opinion). There were no additional directions for anyone reporting mental health symptoms (e.g. to contact your GP) and instead it was all wrapped up with a sales pitch.

My issue, it claimed, was that I was being overrun by estrogen and need to ‘rush’ it out (I presume this is a typo and they mean ‘flush’). ‘Based on your results’, Happy Mammoth said, ‘it sounds like your body may be overflowing with the hormone,  estrogen, and struggling to metabolise it’.

And all that from four questions? That’s some impressive diagnostic medicine.

Their solution, of course, was their best-selling Hormone Harmony formula.

This diagnosis was then reinforced by a spammy, sales-driven email, apparently from Happy Mammoth’s CEO – Matt. This again reiterated that my body was drowning in estrogen and for a limited time only, I could use a Happy Mammoth discount code – for 15% to remedy this.

‘We rarely offer discounts, because Hormone Harmony is our top bestseller’, the email said. In other words, just another cliche sales tactic that – for me at least – undermines the sincerity of this company.

This first interaction with Happy Mammoth, and their quiz, therefore raised (for me, anyway) some serious red flags.

Their unsubstantiated claims of 14,000 studies supporting my (apparently) personalised diagnosis, the hyperbolic language, the brevity of the questionnaire and the lack of proper safeguarding around mental health symptoms, all suggested that this was a company underpinned by a hard sales business model, rather than any meaningful pastoral care.

This is something I wanted to definitely touch upon in this honest review of Happy Mammoth and their Hormone Harmony formula.

In short, it gave me the ick.

ASA Rulings Against Happy Mammoth

Some of the eagle-eyed amongst you have gone one step further, and found several ASA rulings against Happy Mammoth (also trading under Happy Koala).

In short, the Advertising Standards Agency here in the UK found several of Happy Mammoth’s adverts to be misleading, incorrect and in direct breach of the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing.

In short, the grand claims that Happy Mammoth were selling women in the UK – around weight loss, hormone balance and reduction in menopause symptoms – were, well – dubious, at best.

Happy Mammoth’s response was that the adverts had been shown ‘in error’.

As a result, ASA told Happy Mammoth: ‘not to state or imply their food supplements could prevent, treat or cure human disease, which for the purposes of the Code included claims to treat or cure the symptoms of menopause. We also told them to ensure their advertising did not include health claims that referred to a rate or amount of weight loss’.

A very satisfying conclusion, I think you’ll agree.

Advertising and Facebook Marketing

I first came across Happy Mammoth on Facebook, where I seem to have been targeted for incessant adverts.

Aged 37, a mother, and – well, female – it seems I fit their key audience and as such, my Facebook feed could not move for their ads. Given the volume of adverts I saw, I can only presume that they have some serious budget behind this campaign.

Initially, I was intrigued by their adverts. As I said, I was looking for natural remedies to help support my hormonal health and Happy Mammoth seemed to deliver on this. However, as the adverts increased, their choice of language, grand claims and liberal use of ‘statistics’, began to irk me.

One advert I saw claimed that Happy Mammoth could clear up ‘those past few years of craziness’ – as it pushed their menopause supplement on me.

Now, there’s a lot to unpack here.

‘Years of craziness’? For a company that claims to be dedicated to women, their hormonal health and their wellbeing, this language is incredibly patronising, dismissive and, dare I say it, sexist.

honest review of Happy Mammoth Hormone Harmony

Peri-menopausal or menopausal women are not ‘crazy’; they are dealing with very real, often debilitating symptoms. Referring to them as such only reinforces old tropes about menopausal women and does absolutely nothing to positively push the new, proactive language and narrative around this stage of a woman’s life.

For a company concerned with women’s health, this sort of language is incredibly disappointing. In fact, it made me feel a bit angry.

Depressing Focus on Weight Loss

Secondly, Happy Mammoth’s adverts seem less focused on helping women to genuinely manage their menopause symptoms, or their ‘hormone imbalances’, and instead push their apparent weight loss potential.

This is something I wanted to touch upon in this honest UK review of Happy Mammoth – as I believe it’s a focus that undermines much of this company’s legitimacy.

Firstly, this dated approach to women’s health, focusing only on the weight, is depressingly regressive and targets women’s self-esteem and insecurities. Secondly, there is no real evidence (that I can see) to suggest that their products help women to safely lose weight, or sustain this weight loss.

Much of Happy Mammoth’s language instead focuses on ‘flushing out weight’. If this is the case, then what they are referring to is water retention – not visceral fat, which is so often found around our waists and can be the result of hormones (particularly cortisol).

This sort of fat cannot be ‘washed’ out of our systems, it can only be lost through fat burning and a calorie deficit – induced by exercise and improved diets.

When Happy Mammoth therefore claim that women have lost up to 30lb in 2 months from their supplements, or that 99% of women declared that the ‘hormonal weight’ around their waists had simply ‘disappeared’, I remain highly skeptical.

I had a careful look at what Happy Mammoth suggest helps to prompt this miracle weight loss, specifically within their Menodaily supplement. It seems that much of the focus is on its key ingredient – Kelp, with footnotes (apparently) providing the research behind this.

However, once you scroll down to the footnotes, many of them seem to be in no real order and some do not link to scientific research, but just online websites like Healthline.

While Kelp has been linked to its potential role in weight loss (thanks to the fact it contains iodine, which supports our thyroid function), results remain inconsistent. In fact, one study that looked at the effects of taking daily kelp found that it had absolutely no effect on women’s weight, fat composition or blood pressure.

When it comes to Happy Mammoth and weight loss, I’d therefore tread very carefully. If something seems to good to be true, it often is.

Unbacked Claims and Statistics

Another thing to mention in this honest UK review of Happy Mammoth are their allusions to academic research.

First thing’s first, there is no evidence that any of their supplements, including Hormone Harmony, have been subject to any clinical trials. There are no references to them in PUBMED and their own reviews remain purely anecdotal.

However, Happy Mammoth do use a little creative licence to get around this, by giving the impression that their formulas have been cited in various publications, including The New Yorker, Forbes and Scientific American. Yet, when you look again – they are simply referring to the fact the ingredients in their supplements have, on an occasion, been mentioned in these publications.

It doesn’t say why, or for what – nor does it show clinical results. These references are therefore largely worthless, and simply a sign of clever marketing and embellishment.

Happy Mammoth is not FDA Approved

Scroll down to the bottom of Happy Mammoth’s website and you’ll see the following disclaimer: ‘The statements made on this website have not been evaluated by the FDA (U.S. Food & Drug Administration). The products sold on this website are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.’

Again, given the language found throughout Happy Mammoth’s own website, this is a surprising admission. Indeed, their quiz doesn’t only seem to offer a diagnosis (remember my body, overflowing with estrogen?), but they seem to claim that they can completely treat and cure almost any hormonal related issue.

honest review of happy mammoth hormone harmony

In fact, one of their adverts even said that their supplements will ensure you ‘sale through’ the menopause. That is quite the assertion.

Given that Happy Mammoth’s products are not peer reviewed nor FDA approved, I would again take their messaging with a pinch of salt.

Hormone Harmony Didn’t Work (For Me)

Lastly, and the most critical part of this honest review of Happy Mammoth Hormone Harmony: did it work for me?

No, not really.

As I mentioned, following the birth of my son (and still some three years later), my cycle is a white-knuckle ride. I struggle with bloating, mood swings, anxiety, fatigue, dry skin, heavy periods and constant brain fog – something that really does impact my life.

According to Happy Mammoth, this was (according to my four answers) down to estrogen dominance – something that could be entirely remedied by their Hormone Harmony formula. Apparently, the ingredients inside this supplement would work ‘uniquely’ with my own body – going where the need was greatest. I didn’t receive – or even need – a specific diagnosis, as this magical supplement would apparently instinctively know what to do.

It was a one size fits all approach to hormonal health.

Yet it didn’t seem to fit my overflowing, oversized hormones – at all.

Honestly, and having taken Hormone Harmony for twelve weeks, I can confidently say it did nothing for me and I didn’t notice any benefits.

Despite claims my ‘hormonal weight’ would ‘shift’ within 15 to 30 days, I weighed exactly the same at the end of my 12 weeks. I still remained just as bloated and my sleep was exactly the same, if not worse.

It was all a bit disappointing.

Honest Review of Fatty15: the Best Supplement for Anxiety?

2025 Update: What Supplements Did Work?

It’s been nearly a year since I first wrote this review and I’m staggered by how many times it’s been read.

It seems that for many, Happy Mammoth’s Hormone Harmony didn’t deliver – and in some cases, made symptoms much worse. Of course, for others, I was delighted to see that it really did make a difference, which is fantastic news.

However, and overall, many women felt as I did – that they were being targeted by marketing focused at the lowest common denominator; making women feel panicked, insecure and desperate. This company was simply flogging them something that over promised and under delivered (the story of every female’s life, I suppose).

Over the last year, I’ve tried other ways to balance my hormones and can happily say I’ve actually had a fair amount of success.

After trialling  a few other expensive products – The Tenth, being one – I decided to simply strip things back and try to balance my hormones more simply; without the aid of expensive supplements.

And, lo and behold, it worked.

Firstly, I worked with a nutritionist to really clean up my diet and lose some weight. This meant quitting all sugar, highly processed food and alcohol – focusing on eating around 1800 calories of whole foods per day. Crucially, I also had to eat around 130g of protein a day – something that is crucial to hormone regulation (something I didn’t know).

Not only did this new diet help me shift over a stone in weight, but I felt so much more even throughout the month; no crazy PMT or runaway hormones. Of course, I still feel those mild ups and downs, but nothing compared to what it was.

I also did a few other boring things – I started walking 10,000 steps a day, went to two pilates classes a week and drank a minimum of 3 litres of water a day. Of course, I had initially scoffed at the idea that these basic things could help me balance my hormones, but they really did.

Truly.

The dietician also explained how important gut health is to hormone balance – it’s crucial, in fact. I therefore obediently got back on the Symprove train and within 8 weeks, noticed all my IBS related symptoms (which flared during PMS) had all but gone. I forgot what a magical probiotic Symprove is and now ensure I take it daily.

Lastly, I added in a few supplements that have made all of the difference. Magnesium Threonate has transformed how I sleep – and I now get a good 8 hours a night as a result. It’s also hugely (and I mean, this, truthfully) minimised my anxiety – so much so that I’ve had a good 6 months without any troublesome anxiety spells.

I still take Fatty15, which has helped with muscle and joint pain (and helped restore my hair and nail health) and I also swear by my Flow headset, still, to help with relaxation.

Lastly, and this is now my go-to monthly supplement, I decided to start taking Rheal tonic. While it hasn’t transformed me into a glowing, sexually charged woman some three stone lighter (as Happy Mammoth promise), it has added a gentle sense of calm to my days – and with it, my cycle. In particular, it’s really helped also with bloating and water retention, which I hadn’t expected.

Overall, I feel in such a better place than I did this time last year. I feel healthier, happier, mentally stable and much more positive.

And all without Hormone Happy.

My Honest UK Review of Happy Mammoth Hormone Harmony: The Verdict

Happy Mammoth are a company clearly doing something right.

Their sales are soaring, their reviews are glowing and they have enough budget to fund a near non-stop social media advertising campaign.

Furthermore, it does seem that they are genuinely interested in providing naturopathic solutions to women; seeking to find high quality, dependable and effective ingredients to support women during difficult times in their lives.

However, and for me at least, Happy Mammoth and their Hormone Harmony was a let down.

Of course, I did suspect that this might be the case. Much of their language, and so many of their claims, simply seemed too good to be true; all talk but no trouser. Much of their business seems to be built on clever marketing, manipulative language and targeting women where it hurts – their hormones and their weight.

While I have no doubt women have had real success with these supplements – and I remain convinced that plant-based ingredients can have tremendous effect on our health – I do believe Happy Mammoth are perhaps capitalising on this somewhat; declaring their supplements the magic bullet that simply does not exist.

Hormoens are complicated, nuanced and inextricably linked to a woman’s personal health, environment, genetics and wellbeing. There is no one size fits all approach to ‘balancing’ hormones, nor eradicating menopausal symptoms.

The fact that Happy Mammoth suggest that there is, and it is found inside their products, is therefore worrying.

Ultimately, and as much as it pains me to admit, from my experience it seems that Happy Mammoth is simply a case of the Emperor’s New Clothes. Sure, it may help you – and it seems it has helped thousands of others – but please don’t be disappointed if you find that it does very little.

A very helpful review, thanks! Every other ad on my feed is from them and you’re exactly right, they are praying on women’s insecurities and it seems very wrong!

Their ads seem to be getting increasingly worse – lazy graphics of cartoon women with bellies. Really undermines any sincerity they may have!

I have struggled to find different reviews about this product – they are all so glowing! So, I was glad to come across your article. I have just started taking HH and I have noticed an increase in menopausal symptoms over the last few days – for example, more hot flashes during both the day and night. If those continue, or increase, I will be requesting a refund and looking elsewhere in my search for some relief.

This is so helpful and need much more visibility on the internet than it’s currently getting. I am perimenoposal and have used the product and my night sweats and hot flashes reduced. I feel my moods also improved but the claim about weight loss really irked me and I found to be untrue. Its a shame the company is choosing to focus on this angle for their advertising.

Thank you for the review! I’m so glad for this honest and factual review others can fall on when researching this product. Like others on here I had huge doubts about their claims. For someone who is not blessed with a naturally slim frame and who has worked really hard throughout the life to keep in shape – exercising regularly with a big focus on nutrition, it is simply insulting to suggest that you can loose weight by taking a few herbal pills a day. Understanding the relationship between health and mental wellbeing and overall fitness is very complex and requires a holistic and individual approach, the formula one may find after years of trials and errors.

Thank you so much for this review. I have been googling to see if anyone had talked about some of the issues you have raised using a variety of ‘search sentences’ but got no where! I’m so glad I found this page. I have been taking HH for at least 5 months and I feel like it helped me sleep better yes but my midriff has thickened and my breasts feel huge! I feel it may be due to the progesterone in them…? I too was told I had oestrogen overload. I am going to stop taking them from today and have emailed them to let them know I’m cancelling my subscription.

Thank you for this review, I’ve been trying to find something regarding people’s experiences that was not connected to the HM site. I started estroControl and after a few days my period started 2 weeks early. Symptoms worse than ever before. After contacting HM they replied with it’s just my ‘hormones harmonizing’. I cut the dose and through my desperate attempt to find normality from my perimenopause, I started HH too. 2 weeks in I’m bloated, getting cramps all over my body, exhausted. I fear I’m making my condition far worse. I’m in belief from HM advertising that they are actually prying on women’s weaknesses at a time we all are desperate for support. I think I’m best stopping and seeing if I start to feel better. Thank you for your honest review.

You’re a good person. I’m making a business now in the same space and it’s shocking how evil they’re taking things. I know they’re unethical because they have zero 1-2 star Google reviews but on Amazon they have plenty. That means they know what they’re doing is greedy and predatory. Someone really needs to sue them for praying on innocent women and getting away with it.

Just what I needed to read today. I was also given the ick by their hard sell, but like you, I was curious. I have taken 2 bottles, so just under 2 months, and was debating whether to restock. Having read your review which I now realise is a reflection of how I actually feel about it having cut through all the BS on my socials and in their emails, I will save my money. x

Thanks for sharing your honest review. After taken it for 2 weeks, I do feel as though it has done nothing for me or made any difference. If anything, I felt more bloated when I was taking it 3 times a day so reduced it to 2 a day last couple of days to see if it will make a difference. I kept telling myself it might just be my gut adjusting to the new herbs. Buy my sleep has been worst than it was before ( I had no issues sleeping before) but now I keep waking up in middle of the night 😣l have subscribed so another bottle is due to arrive but I may just cancel and get my money back after 60 days. Feel like I’ve been scammed.

I also got the 15% discount as I didn’t buy it – now I’ve read your reviews and these others won’t be opting in to buy either

Thanks everyone for the genuine reviews

I am so grateful that I found this honest review as I was about to order but then at the back of my mind, I thought I would look and check for the reviews on this product first. Thank you for sharing your experience. It saved me money and the expectation that I would lose all the menopause symptoms that I had for several years including the menopausal belly which made me so insecure and looked pregnant.

So happy with your article… HH is overloading me with their adds…which makes me quite nervous and unwilling to trust what I read…it’s just as you mentioned… all about promoting the HH but no sincere argumentation… I dislike that…
Decided after reading your article that I will not order HH and will ban all their adds in my phone…
Thank you…this was really what I needed…think my solution will be continuing my fail yoga practice…

It’s also alarming how clever marketing can override our instinct to look for accreditation and FDA approval…. Thanks again and good luck with the hormonal journey.

I think people should still try don’t be put off on just one persons review might really work for you like it has for me and this is the true .
All ingredients are agreeable amazing and good for you either way so you can always google the ingredients and see the clinical trials on them wich I assume there must be by other parties ?
But honestly do not let one bad review or honest review put you off maybe the best thing u ever done for urself !
Try it as you got nothing to lose and everything to gain .
Them ingredients alone are enough to make you feel amazing like myself and they are proven ingredients so please do ur own research.
Kindest regards

I just wanted to mention that brain fog is a common side effect of sertraline. I know how hard it is to deal with so might be worth a chat with your GP. Thanks again. Really appreciate your review x

I came across this review as today when I googled “Happy Mammoth bad reviews”. Today I had an appointment with a medical herbalist I have seen in the past due to having Mast Cell Activation Syndrome which is caused by mycotoxin poisoning (specifically very high levels of ochratoxin) – symptoms include histamine flare ups, however I have managed symptoms well through diet, supplements, exercise, sleep and stress management to the point that histamine flare ups were a thing of the past. However 6 weeks ago I had a histamine flare up which has continued to worsen, despite turning to all my tried and tested approaches. Being 52 I had put it down to menopause and oestrogen levels changing (Google menopause and histamine and oestrogen connection) but was very surprised when Medical Herbalist said it was down to Hormone Harmony and specifically the 3rd and 7th listed ingredients, maca root and Rhodiola. Both are adaptogens that are way too stimulating for people with mast cell issues – maca root specifically stimulates mast cells to produce histamine and whilst Rhodiola is meant to be a histamine inhibitor, in her experience, in her patients, it triggers histamine. I had been evenagelical about Hormone Harmony – within 24 of hours taking significant joint pain (a side effect of mycotoxin poisoning is Ehlers-Danlos like issues with connective tissue) was reduced and my 18 year old daughter saw a significant improvement in her erratic menstrual cycle. Anyway, hope this helps, especially for anyone that is experiencing histamine reactions. My experience is that medical herbalists are absolutely worth seeking out – whilst the cost for an inital appointment can be quite high (I paid £120 as a returning customer) the monthly cost of the herbal tincture is £50 which compares well with Happy Mammoth – in my case I can also cut out other supplements I was taking and it is bespoke to me and includes other ingredients such as mild anti-fungals like coriander. She is also sending me a tincture of vitex herb for my daughter (for free).

Thank you for taking the time and effort to research the product and review. I have been dithering about purchasing the hormone product for a couple of months (I’m 54 and still having bad peri symptoms). All the reviews seem too good to be true, unless you read the 1 and 2 star ones on trustpilot, and I agree with your stance on their awful marketing. Women are often told the most ridiculous solutions for medical issues, such as “try losing weight” and “well, getting older can be hard…”
Being listened to, and having an honest dialogue with a medical professional like a grown a$$ woman shouldn’t be so rare. Best of luck with your health and thanks again!

Thank you for this honest review. I have been spammed with Happy Mammoth commercials too ever since I had started to look for information on peri MP on the internet. But I was skeptical about it. So after not having more than 1-2 hours of sleep a night and suffering from hot flashes for 6 months I went to the gynecologist who put me on a combined HRT (bio identical hormones), and within 3 weeks I got my old life back. Except that I feel younger. Zero hot flashes, OK sleep ( sleep was never my forte) furthermore all my little pains in the neck and lower back are gone. My energy is back also my optimism. Of course I was worried about the breast cancer risks, but they are minimal and I also came across Dr Sylvie Demers’ book, which is backed – up with evidence based scientific researches and my fear is gone. Good luck everyone!

Thank you for this very thorough review. As a woman, who thinks she may be perimenopausal I am constantly looking for something to help. I was definitely drawn to Happy Mammoth, especially as it was pretty much every second thing I saw on FB. I don’t have money to waste and am a bit gullible to this type of thing. Especially when they make claims about weight loss, which causes me so much anxiety and sadness. I do suffer with increased cortisol due to depression/anxiety and my beautiful grandchildren, who I love very much but am on edge to make sure they are safe. I have been walking alot and have seen massive improvements in how I feel. I do get very low mood during search steps of my cycle and now experiencing hot flashes. The search continues.

Thank you for confirming my decision. I am a post-menopausal 59-year-old woman who still feels young and vibrant. I have been taking Hormone Harmony for three months, and I haven’t felt much effect either way. It’s time to renew, so I was looking back at my emails to see if there was a coupon I could use. Just this morning, I was dismayed (though not entirely surprised) to see an email announcing Happy Mammoth’s new “referral program” a.k.a. PYRAMID SCHEME. I am officially done with this company!!!

Great review. Really helpful. This is a well-balanced and thoughtful article that highlights an important issue. The marketing of natural hormone supplements often plays on women’s insecurities, capitalizing on societal pressures related to aging, weight, and beauty. It’s concerning how these products are presented as quick fixes without sufficient scientific backing, which can mislead vulnerable consumers. Thank you for raising awareness on this topic—it’s essential that women are empowered with accurate information to make informed choices about their health.

Hi there, I’ve been taking the Happy Mammoth Estrocontrol along with Hormone Harmony since May this year. These products have changed my life. I am happy and in control and don’t have brain fog. I have energy and focus and have lost all of the bloating; fluid retention; and awful sugar and carb cravings – so yes, have lost a lot of hormonal related weight and am now fitting into clothing sizes I wore in my teens. (I’m 45yrs old) In the earlier weeks, I found myself reaching for food and snacks and then realising it was just out of habit and that I truly wasn’t hungry. I’m sorry you and others have had a negative experience because I was in a terrible place, experiencing all of your symptoms and heading into depression too. For me, the 2 products together have been the answer.

I’m not sure what is worse. The bust increase or going back to the Hot Flushes. Just so over it. Thanks for your review.

It’s not what I wanted to hear. … I wanted you to say it’s brilliant & everyone needs to be taking it. As they’d have you believe. As a pessimist (thanks Hormoens) I’d always smirk at claims “weight loss, no pmt” claims & think “yeah right”
Being bombarded with their ads & happy results you get sold slowly don’t you.
But the price is “eesh”. The OH is at the point of “I’ll pay whatever it takes” (oh poor him having to “suffer” my symptoms!)
I type in their help bubble “can I take this with a merina coil fitted” & get sent to the GP ! Argh
I still don’t know what to do.

Thank you for your review. I just now read my “personalised” quiz results, after choosing the “female” gender option…and was advised that if I am a man, then I should click a link in the email and see what Happy Mammoth can do for me! How personal is that?? I was already thinking they were a bit pricey and doubled up on some supplements I’m already taking. Also, thank you for the information that their products are now manufactured in the Netherlands. I had not seen anything like that in their advertising. As an Australian, I would obviously prefer to support locally made products, and there are plenty of others in the genre that are wholly Australian owned & operated and manufacture in Australia. I think I’ll stick with them! Thank you. xxx

Thank you for your lengthy review. I have been taking the tablets for 3 months and have noticed a significant improvement in my menopausal symptoms. I am 50 and my periods ceased at 46. Since then I have had terrible anxiety, hot flushes, night sweats and bloating. After a week of taking ‘Hormone Harmony’ all my symptoms disappeared. I feel calmer and not more night sweats. However, everyone has different levels of estrogen and progesterone and so these may not suit all. I just wanted to share my honest opinion. Yes, they are expensive but they work for me.

This was such a honest review, thank you very much.
I’ve been on the belly reset for two weeks, my constipation is at its worst! This has made life slightly more difficult for me.
No response to emails, but when I made a comment on FB about the product, it was deleted and instantly they messaged me and advised that I should lessen my dose. Asking how I’ve been taking it. And saying my it’s very rare to have adverse reactions and I should consult a health professional.
I am a health professional, and did have my doubts, but after the thousands of glowing reviews, I thought I’ll try it anyway.
Not worth the money for me.

I am 35 and probably am heading to premature menopause in the following years. I have been experiencing all the menopausal symptoms for the past 2 years – hot flashes, weight gain, terrible mood swings, low sex drive etc. Those (honestly annoying) ads have been popping up all over my social media for quite some time now. I am typically very skeptical to those things but not going to lie, those reviews really fooled me and I finally gave in and decided to order those ridiculously expensive supplements. My symptoms had been quite mild over the past months but there could always be improvement hence I started taking them – 3 per day as suggested on the packaging. I didn’t notice any difference during the first week. Two weeks in and I started to feel like my symptoms were on steroids – my mood swings were all over the place (I was crying and getting irritated about everything), my breast grew a size, were stone hard and so painful that I couldn’t even lay on my sides, I felt drained, my joints ached, I had cravings non-stop. Aside that, the worst thing which really started to impact my overall feeling, was the constant bloating and constipation. My intestines were so sore to the point that I got worried it was something serious. The only thing that wasn’t appearing were hot flashes but they typically don’t appear before further in my cycle.
At first I was so confused of the sudden worsening of my symptoms but once I figured it out, it could be from HH, I stopped immediately and felt instant reliefe after two days.
Probably I am among those, who are specifically sensitive to some of the components considering my condition but I would have never in a million years tought that something that should offer improvement could make things worse in such level.

I’ve been taking them for a year – I have seen no difference. Astonishingly expensive and i’m hugely disappointed. I have gone onto some magnesium drinks which have seemed to help with anxiety and sleep. You are all right they are preying on women’s desire to be thin and all the hormonal stuff along with it. Shouldn’t be ok.

None of this surprises me a bit … I was going to order then I read a bunch of reviews stating that people started taking it and their period that had been absent for months came a few days later … anyone who has half a clue about the female cycle knows that if this is indeed true, it has nothing to do with the supplement at all. So reading them just made me feel they were fake reviews and the price is ridiculous.
If anyone is looking or interested, I have had success for PCOS with myo inositol, it’s not magic it doesn’t eliminate all pcos symptoms, but it absolutely has balanced my hormones and helped me personally a lot. I went from excruciating periods that were months apart (at worse 9 months), i was in so much pain, incredibly heavy and ill for the week before, exhausted, vomiting,
back pain, you name it .. I was tested for menopause and told it was not that and sent on my way by the GP (as they do) I have been taking myo inositol for around a year now, and my cycle has become more and more ‘normal’ for want of a better word, i noticed they became 3 months apart for a while, then 6 weeks, then the last 2 were both just over 4 weeks, the first time of the 4 week cycle it actually took me completely by surprise as I had no noticeable symptoms in the week before. It wasn’t so heavy I had to down tools for 3 days before it settled down, had some minor aching but not excruciating pain during and only lasted 5 days … I was recommended this by someone I accidentally came across on Instagram who is a pcos nutritionist, and had a lengthy conversation with me and gave me lots of advice without asking for a penny so I gave it a shot and it has worked for me so I’m glad I did.
May be worth a look and reading up on for others

In the interest of consumer well being and in addition to the well researched review of a Happy Mammoth product I offer several links which were part of my research prompted by your review. I tried to research the company location/registration in Wyoming, its ‘research staff’ and any litigation surrounding their products. This is what I discovered. The Company is indeed registered in Cheyenne, Wyoming but the location address is a Limited Liability registration company on Thomes Avenue. Further I located the following which I find unsettling to say the least:
