Introducing Sandals’ Newest Resort: Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

Introducing Sandals’ Newest Resort

In March 2024, Sandals opened their 18th resort in Saint Vincent and and the Grenadines. It’s Sandals’ first venture into the Eastern Caribbean and one that aims to shine a light on this sparkling island through local activities, wellness and relaxation across its 50-acres of tropical landscape.

Having had the pleasure of enjoying two stays with Sandals, including Sandals Grande Antigua and Sandals Ochi Beach,  and having spent a (fleeting) day on Saint Vincent as part of a cruise, we were itching to learn more about this brand new resort.

Below is everything you need to know about Sandals’ newest resort.

Desperate to visit? Book before 14th May to receive a whopping £500 off a 14-day holiday to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.sandal's newest resort saint vincent and the grenadines

As with all Sandals resorts, the accommodation offered at the newly opened Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is five-star opulence.

There are 301 rooms and suites available, including the pioneering new Vincy Overwater Two-Story  Villas. The traditional beachfront villas can also be found at the resort, boasting golden sands just a few steps from your bed.

Finally, the suites at Sandals Saint Vincent offer bonus luxuries, including including private pools, media rooms and personal fitness rooms.

As with all Sandals resorts, the new Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Sandals retreat also offers the famous Butler service, for those looking to really indulge.

Restaurants at Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

One of our favourite aspects of a Sandals resort are the diverse (and delicious) culinary offerings and the latest addition doesn’t disappoint. There are eleven eateries at Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, spoiling visitors with a wide range of luxury dining experiences.

Three of the most exciting restaurants are:

  1. Buccan: this is an immersive family-style, open-air restaurant. Cooking is done with traditional local clay yabba pots, highlighting local ‘Vincy’ ingredients.
  2. Scrimshaw: a fresh seafood restaurant, offering curry conch fritters, scallops with pickled, locally grown peanuts, and sophisticated cocktails such as the Scrimshaw Martini.
  3. Parisol: a relaxed, open-air beach club serving up smoothies and delicious seafood dishes. Parisol is also open for dinner, with its ‘Imoro’ – (meaning ‘grab-and-go’), healthy bowls that focus of fresh veg.

Pools and Spa at Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

The pools at Sandals’ newest resort are some of the most luxurious and relaxing you’ll  find in the Eastern Caribbean.

The pièce de résistance is the resort’s 300-foot linear pool, lined by cabanas for guests to enjoy lazy days with plenty of cocktails. If you’re looking for a little more privacy, there are a further 3 secluded pools onsite, nestled amongst lush vegetation.

Guests can also pay a visit to the Red Lane Spa, which offers relaxing treatments that utilise the natural minerals found in the local volcanic sand, to help exfoliate and detoxify. During our visit to the Antigua and Jamaica Sandals resorts, our treatments at the Red Lane Spa were a real highlight and we highly recommend booking in.

Activities at Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

Something that was a lovely surprise during our stays at other Sandals resorts, was the number of authentic and diverse activities. As travel bloggers used to navigating our own way around a destination, we were a little worried we might find an all-inclusive a bit boring.

Thankfully, this wasn’t an issue at all.

At Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, visitors are spoilt for choice when it comes to activities and excursions. From exploring towering waterfalls to enjoying volcanic black sand beaches, embarking on a scuba driving programme to guided kayak tours, there’s something to suit every traveller’s taste.

Is Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Expensive?

A seven-night stay for two adults at Sandals Saint Vincent and The Grenadines in a Bamboo Palm Room with Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub costs (from) £2,265 per person. Price includes all-inclusive accommodation, return economy class flights with Virgin Atlantic from London Heathrow Airport and resort transfers. (Price is date specific and is valid for travel on 9th September 2024 only. All pricing is subject to change and availability.)

As it is Sandals’ latest unveiling, prices at this resort are (for now at least) a little more expensive than other, older resorts. However, given the sheer luxury of the place, we think these prices are more than justified.
