The clocks have just gone back and it’s officially time for cosy season as the dark nights roll in. With December just around the corner, you might (like me) be thinking about stockpiling a few of the best Christmas pyjamas for 2024.
Fortunately, as someone with a true pyjama obsession, I’ve made the job of finding your ultimate Christmas pjs easy with this guide to the best Christmas loungewear sets out there. I’ve scoured the internet, finding my favourite festive sets (and buying too many in the process) and throwing them all into this bumper guide. From supermarket gems to luxury comfort, here’s 40 of my favourite Christmas pyjamas for 2024.

This is a super cute (matching family set) from George at Asda, which comes with the added comfort of a fleecy jumper.

This creamy gonk set comes in a gift box, for those looking for a simple, cosy gift for a loved one this year.
3. Christmas Cream Jingle Reindeer Matching Family Women’s Shirt Pyjama (18.00)
These are, by far, my favourite Christmas Pyjamas for 2024 from George at Asda. With a simple yet sweet design, this set is also available for kids and babies, meaning you can match the whole family.
TU/Sainsbury’s Christmas Pyjamas for 2024
1. Tu X Scion Lionel Christmas Print Traditional Pyjamas £22.00
From the Tu X Scion partnership come these beautiful festive leopard pyjamas. I love the traditional design of the pjs, with a nice festive, feline twist.
2. Christmas Slogan Borg Fleece & Pink Spot Print Pyjamas £24.00
I LOVE these Tu Christmas pjs and would probably opt to wear them for a cosy work from home day or a lazy Sunday afternoon, rather than at night time.
3. Christmas Wake Me Up Before You Cocoa Slogan Pyjama Set £18.00
I would buy this set simply for their name, and the fact they are incredibly cute. These pjs are 100% cotton, so lovely and soft and airy for those looking for a lighter Christmas pj set.
4. Christmas Cat & Candy Cane Printed Traditional Pyjamas (£18.00)
If you too are a crazy cat lady, these Cat & Candy Cane cosy pjs are a Christmas 2024 essential. Just imagine those winter nights, a cat purring on your lap while you snuggle in cat and candy cane comfort.
5. Christmas Holly Printed Traditional Pyjamas (£18.00)
A classic in terms of both style and print, I don’t think you can go wrong with this Christmas Holly print from TU.
Matalan Christmas Pyjamas for 2024

Matalan are a brilliant option for those looking for Christmas pyjamas that don’t cost the earth. I particularly like this cute little set, with the ‘Oh, snap!’ gingerbread design.

Another matching family pyjama set option for Christmas is this cute little set from Matalan for just £16.
3. Cream Dancing Santa Family Pyjama Set (£16.00)
My final choice from Matalan is the Cream Dancing Santa set, which also comes in kids’ sizes. I love this design and think it would be a very nice option for adults and kids alike.
Mid-range Christmas Pyjamas for 2024
Chelsea Peers Christmas Pyjamas
1. Christmas Dog & Wreath Print Long Pyjama Set £45.00
Although Chelsea Peers pyjamas are more costly than many of your average pyjamas, I genuinely believe they are worth the price tag. I’ve got two sets (including a Christmas print) that I’ve been wearing for 3 years now and they continue to wash so well, staying just as cosy and comfortable.
This year’s prints from the brand are as heavenly as ever, including these Christmas Dog & Wreath pyjamas.
2. Organic Cotton Christmas Vintage Tree & Wreath Print Long Pyjama Set (£55.00)
Another beautiful Christmas pyjama set for 2024 are these Tree & Wreath print pjs from Chelsea Peers. If you’re the type of family who like to wear a ‘smart’ pair of pyjamas on Christmas day, I think these would be the ideal set.
3. Velour Christmas Tree Print Long Pyjama Set – White (£55.00)
Looking for a pair of Chelsea Peers pyjamas with an added layer of cosy? Then grab this pair of Velour Christmas Tree Print pyjamas, which I think I may well have to add to my own basket. Snowy soft and comfy, I imagine these are a dream to go to bed in.
4. Organic Cotton Christmas Ribbon Bow Print Long Pyjama Set (£55.00)
Another luxurious set from Chelsea Peers are these pretty bow pyjamas, in a traditional style. I think this would be a lovely set for Christmas day, which have an understated luxurious feel to them.
Marks and Spencer Christmas Pyjamas
1. Women’s Spencer Bear™ Family Christmas Pyjama Set (£25.00)
No guide to the best Christmas pyjamas for 2024 would be complete without including the high street favourite, Marks and Spencer. They have some brilliant options this year, including their Spencer Bear set (which also come part of a matching family set). I spied these in M&S earlier this week and they are lovely and soft, while also being nice and baggy for cosy evenings in with lots of chocolate tubs of Quality Street.
2. Pure Cotton Printed Pyjama Set (£22.00)
I think this set wins in terms of affordability and quality, costing just £22 for a lovely festive, cotton set. If you or someone you know is a dog lover, this Christmas pyjamas set will be very difficult to resist.
3. Women’s Checked Family Christmas Pyjama Set With Eye Mask (£25.00)
I love this set and think it would also make for a great early Christmas gift this year. This set is also available in kids’ sizing for those looking for a matching family photo.
4. Women’s Candy Striped Family Christmas Pyjama Set (£25.00)
If pink is more your thing, the family set with eye mask also comes in this lovely pink stripy design, which I think I might prefer as you could also wear these throughout the year.
4. Cyberjammies Women’s Family Winter Print Pyjama Top (£26.00 for top and £26.00 for bottoms)
I hadn’t heard of Cyberjammies before but have found this Christmas design in both M&S and John Lewis. This festive little iceskating scene is very sweet and comes in all sizes, if you’re looking for matching family pyjamas.
ASOS Christmas Pyjamas
1. ASOS DESIGN gingerbread house long sleeve top & trouser pyjama set in purple (£22.00)
ASOS is always a firm choice when it comes to cheap/midrange pyjamas and I think this gingerbread design deliver in just that. I love the purple of these pjs and think they make for a nice alternative to the usual green and reds of festive pyjamas.
2. Threadbare bow print long sleeve pyjama set in pink and white (£26.00)
If you’re looking for a simple, yet extremely cute Christmas pyjama design for 2024, then this Threadbare design, available on ASOS, are a great choice. I love the little bows and cherries and think this pj set is a lovely, fresh set for winter.
3. ASOS DESIGN candy cane oversized tee & short pyjama set in pink (£16.00)

If you’re looking for a pair of mid-range pyjamas in terms of budget, then John Lewis have some great options for Christmas pyjamas for 2024. I’ve already seen this lovely Bauble set in store and they feel incredibly luxurious and high quality in terms of material and finish. I really like the traditional colours and style of this set and am quite tempted to treat myself to them when October’s payday rolls around.

If you’re looking for a simple set of slinky, festive red pyjamas ahead of Christmas, head to H&M. These red satin pyjamas are ideal for cosy evenings in, with a nice nod to the festive period without a festive print in sight.

1. Navy Blue Matching Family Women’s Christmas Penguin Pyjamas (£26.00)
Another great option for matching family Christmas pyjamas are these Navy Blue Penguin pyjamas. These are a good option if you have boys in your life, who want some more traditional pjs in more muted tones.

I won’t lie, I am a little bit obsessed by this gingerbread Christmas pyjama design from New Look. As cute as they come, this is a set that I have already treated myself to and can confirm they are as lovely to wear as they look.

If you’re looking for a pair of Christmas pyjamas that also work as general loungewear around the house, then these Feliz Navidad Christmas Pyjamas are perfect for you. I really like the top and could happily wear these on a work-from-home day or a lazy Sunday.
3. Green Checked Revere Trouser Pyjama Set (£32.99)
New Look’s traditional Christmas design comes in a lovely dark green and blue tartan. I actually prefer these colours to the red tartan design, as you can wear these all year round, making sure you get your money’s worth.

I am head over heels in love with this teddy bear Christmas set from New Look. In fact, this is probably one of my favourite Christmas pyjama sets for 2024 – not only for the adorable design but for the great price too.

These gingerbread pyjamas are very similar to the New Look set but with the added luxury of being made from a fleecy material for extra cosiness. They are come complete with their own little pyjama bag.

If you’re after more of a wintery than festive design this year, these Polar Bear fleece pyjamas are for you.
Luxury Christmas Pyjamas for 2024
Boden Christmas Pyjamas for 2024
Brushed Cotton Pyjama Set (£40.00 for top and £40.00 for bottoms)
I adore Boden and while it is out of my price range most months of the year, I might be tempted to treat myself to a pair of their Christmas pyjamas after a manic year. I love this brushed cotton set, with Christmas trees and colourful stars, spots and stripes. I think this is the type of pyjamas you’d be excited to put on as soon as you’re through the front door at night.
