With social media now overflowing with images of families wearing matching festive pyjamas – complete with identical cheesy smiles – this unlikely Christmas uniform has become increasingly popular in recent years.
In fact, ‘viral pjs’ are now a thing in 2024 (just scroll TikTok), and I’m not ashamed to admit that I’ve been very much pulled into the pyjama hysteria, particularly when it comes to cosy matching Christmas pjs.
To save you time, I’ve therefore trawled the internet for the best matching family pjs for Christmas. Far from a slog, I’ve had a lovely time researching the best high street pyjamas for Christmas – and it’s been quite wonderful.

In my opinion, Chelsea Peers pyjamas reign supreme in the pyjama world, and so I was delighted to discover that M&S are currently stocking their Christmas range. These matching family Christmas dog pyjamas are incredibly cute.
It’s just a shame we’re more of a cat family.
2. Candy Striped Family Christmas Pyjama Set with Eye Mask (£25.00 for adults)
I love this festive take on matching family pyjamas and the fact you could easily wear these all year round. 100% cotton, these are a lovely, high quality option for those who want to avoid hot fleecy pjs over the winter period.
